Hi! My name is Ellie Kollme, and I am a photographer and a writer. I am focused on telling personal, people-driven stories, with the goal of showcasing what is often forgotten: that everyone is interesting.

I am a recent graduate from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Journalism and Psychology in May 2026.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors with friends and leading backpacking and trekking trips for teenagers, most recently guiding multi-week expeditions through the Pyrenees and completing the Tour du Mont Blanc. I hope to combine my love of writing, photography and connecting with others with my passion for outdoor adventure.
